NGC is delighted to be in the finishing stage at the new dual-brand Fairfield Inn/TownePlace Suites hotel in Norfolk, Nebraska. Once completed, FFI/TPS will be a 55,140 SF four-story hotel with 90 total guest rooms. Expected to open in late Fall 2022, this dual-brand concept provides TownePlace Suites long-term suites for extended stays as well as short-term rooms for Fairfield Inn guests. There will be 41 TPS rooms and 49 FFI guest rooms for Northeast Nebraska’s travelers. It’s exciting for NGC to construct the first dual-brand Marriott hotel project in the state of Nebraska, and this is one of only a few in the nation!
According to NGC Project Manager Tanner Letcher, “The project
team is excited to get this project to the finish line and get the hotel opened for everyone to enjoy. Building with the current supply chain issues and labor shortages has been challenging throughout the construction process; however, all our
suppliers, subcontractors and the NGC team members are coming together in preparation to turn over a beautiful Marriott property to ownership and the City of Norfolk.”
With Norfolk being the rapidly expanding hub of Northeast Nebraska, as put by KMTV 3, this hotel could not come at a better time for the region. Extended stay rooms are perfect for guests such as traveling nurses, visiting family members, business professionals, and more.
