Key leaders and guests gathered on site in Aurora, Colorado for a Ground Break Ceremony of a new, ground-up, dual-brand hotel development. On Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 4 pm, hotel owners joined NGC and local community officials to commemorate the launch of Hampton Inn Home2 Suites with a celebratory ‘turn of dirt.’ The group enjoyed taking lighthearted photos of tossing of dirt as well! A reception followed with announcements, conversation, snacks and refreshments. All attendees received NGC gifts.
This new dual-branded hotel will have 227 rooms split between the Hampton Inn and Home2 Suites brands which are part of the Hilton family of hotels. Amenities of this new property include meeting space, pool, fitness areas, on-site guest laundry, exterior patios with fire pits and BBQ grills. The hotel will help to serve the Anshutz Medical Campus nearby and the surrounding Aurora & Denver community. The hotel is located at the corner of Oswego Street and Martin Luther King Boulevard. This building will be 5-stories tall and encompass 130,531 square feet.
