NGC Celebrates Crew Appreciation at Holiday Inn Express 9th & O

NGC celebrated a ‘final stretch milestone’ at Holiday Inn Express, located in Downtown Lincoln at 9th & O Street. NGC hosted a crew appreciation lunch recognizing craft-trade accomplishments.

NGC Marketing hosted a catered Phat Jack’s BBQ lunch with treats and swag, while NGC Superintendent Jason Donner announced the teams’ construction achievements; As of March 10th, over 118,000 bricks have been laid, 400,000 SF of drywall has been hanged, 149 toilets have been installed, with 700 gallons of hot water storage racked and miles of DWV and copper! MEP is completing final work, all in just 33 days! Electrical has installed 2,500 outlets + 700 switches + 1,483 light fixtures. HVAC has installed 132 VTACs, 20 air handlers, 13 mini splits and one pool condenser. Among 52 total non-consecutive days, the paint crew used 2,000 gallons of paint. In the last two months, Tile has placed 15,000 SF of tile down, which is an average of 6 days of tilework per floor.

“Wow! Thanks to all the crew members for such incredible efforts. We have been running smoothly and maintaining our schedule, no doubt due to all of your hard work. Please enjoy this lunch and know we appreciate each and everyone of you,” said Jason Donner.

Holiday Inn Express is to complete in late Spring/early Summer of 2021. This project is a seven-story (6-stories above ground with one-level below grade with parking), 123,000 SF hotel with 139 guest rooms.
