NGC SHOUT OUT FOR NAWIC: WIC WEEK’S FOOD DRIVE & EVENT CALENDAR

New Generation Construction supports Women In Construction, WIC WEEK and the NAWIC Omaha Chapter 116. 2021’s WIC WEEK events range from networking opportunities to a food drive that will benefit The Food Bank for the Heartland.

The focus of Women in Construction (WIC) Week is to highlight women as a viable component of the construction industry. WIC Week also provides an occasion for NAWIC’s thousands of members across the country to raise awareness of the opportunities available for women in the construction industry and to emphasize the growing role of women in the industry. It is also a time for local chapters to give back to their communities.

The local Omaha NAWIC Chapter has many events planned March 7-13, 2021 so members and guests can “Do This, That, or All”!  Please review the available WIC Week events posted online and register accordingly in advance.

March 14, 201 UPDATE: 4,720 lbs of non-perishable food was collected and donated to The Food Bank for the Heartland, as a result of NAWIC’s efforts, along with a few hundred dollars in cash. Much appreciation and gratitude for all those who contributed to feeding local hungry families. “The Best Support is Locally Sourced!”
