In order to streamline the communication process, we utilize Procore to handle all project documentation, including RFIs, drawings and specifications, meeting minutes, ASI, addenda, submissions, project schedule, and change requests.

Sarah is one of those rare people who actually loves spreadsheets. She also loves baking, tacos, and Disney — just ask her dog Minnie. Being a part of the NGC team has helped Sarah gain the ability to adapt and learn quickly with a fast-growing company. (The spreadsheets are a nice perk, too.)

Numbers guy Spencer knows his way around accounting software — he’s a CPA, after all! — but one bit of tech used to intimidate him: the self-checkout line at the grocery store. (Don’t worry, he’s since conquered that fear.) In his spare time, you can find Spencer golfing or coaching youth sports.

Katie loves getting to collaborate, create, build, and develop with her NGC team, clients, and partners each and every day. When she’s not busy being a team player, Katie can often be found on the links; her perfect Saturday would be 18 holes in the morning, lunch, then another 18.

Shannon has over 20 years' experience in construction law via his former work at a large, local contractor. He's a legal writing instructor at UNL's law college for night school, and is an avid motorcyclist, traveling across many states.

Eric is 6’5” and decided to wrestle in high school rather than play basketball. And it’s that kind of outside-the-box thinking that helps him excel in his role at NGC. He makes a great coach, too, helping to mentor others in his position as they grow and find success in their careers.

John knows a thing or two about preconstruction, planning, project management and relationship-building. And aerial drone filming! John has an extensive construction background, plus he enjoys fishing, outdoors, cycling, local barley circuits, and sports.

Jen joined the team as a marketer to promote NGC using media, BD relations, branding, PR and promotions. Jen grew up in construction and fused her graphic creativity to become an agent of the 'building arts'. Collaboration with people, learning others' stories, stewardship and championing NGC's entire project process is incredibly rewarding; winning bets to eat chocolate is pretty exciting too!

Sports fan and former Nebraska shot putter Taylor knows it takes hard work to be successful. And in his young career, he’s been able to accomplish a lot, thanks to his dedication, his skills, and his ability to take the vision of a designer and a client and turn it into reality.

Brian never expected to go from watching YouTube videos on wind turbines to actually constructing NGC’s first wind farm in the span of a year. But that’s his favorite part of working at NGC: the wide variety of projects he gets to collaborate on each year. He can’t wait to see what’s next.

Weekly reports

Clear communication is the key to keeping projects on schedule. We issue weekly reports to all members of the project team, complete with job site photos, the current week’s completion summary, and what’s on deck to be finished the following week.
