Saturday afternoon May 21st in the Telegraph District was hopping with fun activities and friendly local business booths! The District wished to introduce the revitalized area with games, interaction, information and conversation. Over 250 visitors attended the party in the O lot at 20th in Eastern Lincoln! Everyone enjoyed live music from “2 of 4” acoustic band, 106.3 KFRX’s radio broadcast, playing games, food trucks, drinks, big inflatables and the large construction equipment displays. The public was welcome to this free-entry event. NGC organized a wonderful collection of fantastic neighbors and friends to host an amazing gathering…
Here is just a sampling of the games, gifts and goods given to the many visitors: Fat Fergs BBQ, Notcho Nacho, La Cocina Mexican Kitchen, produce from the Food Bank from bananas to limes & lemons, pedal group bike rides, toys, bouncie balls, bounces in the bounce castle, obstacle races, massages, candy, bubbles, coasters, suicide awareness bracelets, T-shirts, VFW red paper flowers, books, nitro cold brew, ping pong balls, drink tumblers, frisbees, totes, sanitizing gel, koozies, pens, markers, lip balm, towels, chips, Chick-fil-A gratis sandwiches (Chick-fil-A on 27th in Lincoln sent all proceeds collected to the fellow participating TDBP non-profit organizations!), snack bars, waters, Code Beer samples, Saro Cider samples, party buckets, and lots of information shared to show support and rally awareness for all the charitable vendors! See who these table-hosting marvels were by visiting NGC’s blog online where all 34 participating partners are listed with hot-links.
Many have asked to repeat this street fest again, and if so, we will certainly announce future dates once determined. Please also know Telegraph Lofts West, the apartment building currently under construction, is scheduled to complete later this Fall before 2022 ends. Inquire with Speedway Properties regarding leasing or tenancy, and check out the Telegraph District website for more commercial space information; mixed-use, retail, office, restaurant space is available in all of the buildings.

A huge thanks to all the contributors who made this event possible; it’s easy to pull off a incredible, fun-filled, memorable event when given the privilege of collaborating with warm and accommodating team players who cannot contain their big Nebraska hearts!
