NGC is renovating one of Nebraska’s most recognizable, long-standing stoic landmarks: The Terminal Building! Located at 10th and O Street in Downtown Lincoln, our teams will begin updating the existing 10-story beacon in to a Multi-Family Mixed-Use building over the next several months. All of the charm will be retained while the MEP/framing/code gets updated or replaced from basement to roof. The lower space will be commercial office space, and for the upper levels, beautiful residential luxury condominiums will be created, about five per floor. The cool artifacts will be preserved while a simple modern refresh in design will be executed. The Terminal Building is adjacent, ahem, RIGHT NEXT TO NGC’s Holiday Inn Express project, and we mean they are just inches apart! See this blog’s photo gallery for architectural renderings. The demolition has begun with remodeling scheduled soon after in the Spring of 2021. The Terminal Building will have varying milestones of completion.
Because of the amazing location and positioning of the building, extra-large windows have been prioritized and incorporated in to the design, so future residents can enjoy spectacular views of Downtown Lincoln. The luxury residential condos will be called Traction Lofts. Traction Lofts’ perks and amenities will include a state-of-the-art fitness center, a great room lounge with bar, gaming table, large television, a pet washing station and plenty of storage–individual enclosed storage lockers and bike storage. Residents will have convenient, covered parking adjacent to the building and the parking package will include a Husker game-day tailgate spot.
